Building in Public: Stardex Q1 2026 Update
What we shipped, what didn't work, what we learned, and where we're headed in the second half of the year.
Q1 2026 was our most productive quarter to date. Here's the honest version of what happened.
What we shipped
ChallengeDojo launched in public beta with over 200 developers signing up in the first two weeks. Stardex Flow entered private alpha with three pilot customers. We rebuilt our entire website from the ground up.
What didn't work
We tried to do too much simultaneously. Running three product tracks at once stretched the team thin. In Q2, we're focusing: ChallengeDojo gets the majority of engineering attention, while Stardex Flow moves to a smaller pilot cohort.
What we learned
Distribution matters more than we thought. The ChallengeDojo waitlist grew 4x faster after a single Twitter thread than it did from a month of SEO work. We're doubling down on community and content.
What's next
Q2 is about deepening, not broadening. Better product, more users, more feedback loops. We'll share another update in July.
